I prefer my Kobo beause it’s all I have. Also, I purchased it for half-price ($60) when Border’s went out of business. It has it’s own website so I can order books directly from their website. Before Border’s closed, I ordered books from Border’s website. It came preloaded with 200 books (all the classics) and has wi-fi so I can order things wirelessly. I can also sync purchses through my computer. Sometimes it takes a while to sync for some reason, but the technical staff has been very helpful in correcting that problem.

I’m very frugal, so the price was the most important to me, epecially since I was one of those who thought nothing would take the place of a book. I was wrong.

I love my Nook. it is wonderful to hold, not heavy, easy to download books. And if I have any problems I can just go to the B&N and have them look at it. Their people had to take extra workshops to be able to do this. And they have classes if you are a first timer or need a reminder on how something works.

I have a color NOOK and I really like it. It is easy to download books from B&N. Color is a must for me since one of the ways I choose to read a book by a new author is by the cover.

I’ve only used a Kindle and I love it. I still love print books, but I’m intoxicated by the ability to decide I want to read a book, find it online, purchase it and download. Voila! I’m reading. I’ve had my Kindle a year and have had no problems.
